The major cable news channel played All the President's Men on a Sunday night when approximately 200% of Americans are sitting in front of their TV. And it almost broke Twitter. That's right MSNBC is clearly saying it believes Woodward and Bernstein tracking down Watergate burglars is tantamount to current events - despite the typewriters and rolodexes (a word my spell checker doesn't recognize). A smattering of the hysteria, not hurt by Redford's timeless smokiness, is below.

"Is there a strategy to this? What is it that causes the president to purposely, purposely create distrust in these institutions and what we're doing?" Fair question Bob. Just not sure we want to know the answer.
